Island of the Blue Dolphins Movie (aka Video)
As with many books, Island of the Blue Dolphins was made into a movie (aka video) based on Scott O’Dell’s novel, and written by Jane Klove. The video is available at amazon starting at just under $29, where it consistently gets good to excellent reviews.
The Island of the Blue Dolphins video was produced in 1964 (well, the movie was produced then, and video came a lot later 1998) and stars Celia Kaye, Larry Domasin and includes Ann Daniel, George Kennedy & Carlos Romero. The film was directed by James B. Clark. The movie is “unrated” as is the case with many older films, and is in English. I do not know about availability of subtitles. The VHS release date was January 1, 1998 and is an official run time of 99 minutes.
